POND MEDIC BIO NITRACLEAR FOR NITRATE & PHOSPHATE FREE WATER

Until now there has not been a live bacterial liquid product aimed at nitrate and phosphate removal, as these have never deemed to be a problem in tropical and cold water aquatic environments. This is not the case for marine environments, as nitrates are highly toxic to invertebrates. Bio-NitraClear offers an alternative in tropical and cold water environments, as it reduces nitrates and phosphates which are both food sources for algae. Although Bio-NitraClear does not kill algae, it starves the algae, which then dies off. Bio-NitraClear is the liquid product that can perform these functions in aquariums and ponds:

1. The biological removal of nitrate and phosphate.
2. The reduction of organic sludge build-up.
3. To a lesser extent the removal of ammonia and nitrates.

Bio-NitraClear can be used with any media in a bio-filtration system. As there are very few anaerobic conditions in aquariums Bio-NitraClear should be dosed as follows:

DIRECTIONS FOR USE IN FRESH WATER

Ponds & Aquariums: Add an initial dose of 40ml Bio-NitraClear per 100 litres and thereafter 10ml per 100 litres water per week.
Ponds & Aquariums: (3 months or older) Add an initial dose of 20ml Bio-NitraClear per 100 litres and thereafter 10ml per 100 litres water per week.
